What, Why, How...
What exactly is a coaching?
Coaching can be defined as the process of helping others improve themselves through processes that increase self awareness and identity, develop talents and potential, enhance the quality of their overall life and contribute to the realization of their dreams and aspirations.
What types of people benefit from a coach?
While coaching is extremely effective when facing challenges or difficult situations, it is also about mastery, taking success to an even higher level. Coaching is directly tied to success in almost every aspect of human endeavor.
Why might I need a Coach? Can I do it on my own?
Many people are able to realize their goals and potential with little outside help. However, most tend to hit hurdles that they just cant seem to get over. Coaches help you identify, address and proceed through issues that may be keeping you from realizing your dreams.
How often and how long do people typically work with a Coach?
The time one needs with a coach depends predominately on the goals trying to be achieved and the work necessary. As a norm, single client sessions are one (1) hour in length. However, client programs can run one to three months, or longer as needed. Periodically, coach and coachee will assess progress and dicuss forward progression.
What happens in a Life Coaching Session?
Each session is tailored to the client and will vary based on individual needs. In the beginning, we will discuss what you are committed to accomplishing through our work together and we will begin to create a plan to achieve your goals. Periodically, I will give you assignments or assessments to help direct your progress. We will work together to acknowledge obstacles, explore alternate perspectives and celebrate successes. With the conclusion of each session, we will revisit your goals and evaluate the next steps that are needed to achieve these results.
Do you provide online coaching?
Yes. Much of what I do can be done virtually. I work with quite a number of my clients through platforms like WhatsApp and Skype. However, sometimes in person work is more effective.
What about in person coaching?
Yes. While am based in New York City, I do one-on-one sessions and I do intensives (usually 3 days) and other events around the world.
Is personal coaching confidential?
All discussions I have with clients are held in confidence and are NOT shared with others. However, the legal privilege of confidentiality that exists for the clergy, therapists and attorneys does NOT exist between coach and coachee.
I'm interested, but don't know if I can afford it?
I offer quite a number of options and packages. Most likely, there is one that fits your needs. However, arrangements may be possible and are evaluated on a case by case basis.
